The Starbucks planting experience: Your garden can take part in its enriching experience. Starbucks developed “Grounds For Your Garden”, a program that reuses coffee grounds for composting. The famous coffee company offers complimentary bags of coffee ground waste to customers, parks, schools and nurseries as an initiative for waste reduction. Coffee grounds make up the heaviest portion of waste in Starbucks. The free coffee grounds are packed in recycled bags and are offered on a first-come, first-serve basis to customers.

The AquaMaker AM10 is capable of producing clean, drinking water from the air you breath. It converts the humidity in the air into H2O at the rate of about 36 liters of water in 48 hours. The air filter removes air-borne particles, dust, odor, mold spores, bacteria, and volatile organic chemicals. It costs about $1,200 but, the company plans to release a smaller, more affordable countertop version.
