CAVEAT EMPTOR

***Energy Efficient Light Bulbs –
Compact Fluorescent lights (CFL) ***

Yes, they save $$$ on your electricity bill while helping the economy conserve energy, but they contain a toxin called mercury. In fine print on the packaging, the manufacturers give warning that proper disposal is recommended; covering their ass not ours. Last night, CBS 2 HD made every viewer aware of the fine print and the dangers of the bulb if not properly disposed of.

Unlike ordinary old fashion light bulbs (incandescent lights), CFL's CAN NOT BE DISPOSED OF IN THE GARBAGE.

Why not?

Because once the CFL goes into the garbage mercury will seep into the water table and ocean poising not only the fish but the human race. Yes, we all know it sounds easy to toss the bulb in the garbage, but if you take the easy way out, you are doing more damage to the environment then you are using the CFL. If your going to save $$$, conserve energy, then take the last step and dispose properly. Learn more at http://www.cbsnews.com/stories/2007/02/28/tech/main2524079.shtml

The good news is these light bulbs last a long time, approx. 5 years, so disposing properly is not going to be an inconvenience to you. “Up to 10 incandescent bulbs are replaced during the life of a single CFL bulb, a savings of both time and money.” – Lightingplans.com More good news, these bulbs are fairly new, therefore many people have not yet had to dispose of their CFL's so we are not drinking mercury yet, hopefully NEVER!! YEAH!!!

Bottom Line: PLEASE DISPOSE PROPERLY….

Raise Your Hand If You Want To Change The World!

UPDATE ON OUR PROGRESS

We have just ordered our eco - friendly business cards--- well not exactly!?
We skipped the wasting of printing on paper even if it is recycled and got stamps made ( with enviromental safe ink pads).
Now we can stamp our company information on anything.... (Anything meaning eco- friendly things, like your forehead .... no???)

WELCOME TO CHANGE THE WORLD WITH JOEY AND FRAN

My mother always told me I could change the world.... and now I am .... and you could too.....

So basically our company all "stemmed" from a plain and simply idea-

to raise awarness about Global Warming, educate people on how they can reduce their carbon footprint while looking good!

(Carbon Footprint is a measure of the impact human activities have on the environment in terms of the amount of green house gases produced, measured in units of carbon dioxide)

Armed with a keen sense of fashion and environmentalism, CTWT aims to be a leader in the Eco-friendly wholesale/retail industry, while manufacturing products intended to remind their customers to be environmental conscience in their everyday routines.

Thank you for all of your support!

warmly, ( solar of course)
